Mother's Day...

The first person to feel your presence, the most beautiful gift given to us by almighty- Maa, mom, mummy, mai, mamma, ammi or whatever you call her, she’s the same whatsoever. We celebrate 2nd Sunday of May as “Mother’s day” but what I feel is, even if whole year is dedicated to mothers, it would be nothing as compared to what she does for us right from the day we are born. She is the first person to wake up in the morning (sometimes much before the sun rises), cooks the first meal of the day, wakes up everyone one by one, gets everyone ready for his/her school or work, endures all of our tantrums, keeps on running whole day just to keep us satisfied in every possible way, and is the last person to go to sleep.

She started planning our future on the very day she felt our presence inside her, just to make sure we can live life more comfortably. She’s the one who is more tensed for our examinations than us as if she’s the one going to appear for them. Our whole life revolves around her when we are small. The first word that a child says when he/she is in pain or needs something is “mother”. Mother is the first friend that a child has to share every single detail of the day spent. She’s the one who is awake whole night when we are sick, and prays to god to give all our sufferings to her and bless us with good health. There is really no way in which we can thank our mother for all that she has done for us. Isn’t it difficult to understand how she must have borne the tantrums of our teenage life , all the rude behavior we used to have at that time and remained all calm throughout those years.

“My mother was the most beautiful woman I ever saw. All I am I owe to my mother. I attribute my success in life to the moral, intellectual and physical education I received from her.” —George Washington

Nobody can understand the pain of people without mother, i can understand how it might feel. For all those who have one just cherish this gift of god and enjoy this very special day for her with her.
Mother’s day is the perfect day to rectify all your mistakes done in past and make it a special day for the first most important women of your life. Try to take, not all but some of her responsibilities on you for a day and give her a hassle free one day of her life. Pamper her a little and give her a big “jaadu ki jhappi” as she gives you all the year round whenever you need her to do so.  Wishing all the beautiful and lovely mother’s out there a very “HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY”.
